Disposal and recycling of waste in Ukraine
Disposal of liquid waste has acquired particular relevance at the beginning of the last century. Activated sludge is classified as municipal waste. It appears during the cleaning of sewage. Every day a huge amount of sludge mass is formed, therefore rational and proper utilization of sludge is of paramount importance.
What is active sludge? How is it formed?
The formation of activated sludge is directly related to the process of cleaning household and industrial effluents. Disposal occurs in several stages.
First, the wastewater is subjected to mechanical treatment using sand traps and gratings. Then (at the stage of biological purification) a sludge mass is formed, after which the water-sludge mixture is finally divided into the appropriate fractions. This happens as follows:
Air bubbles, rising to the surface, collect sediments left after the first stage of biological treatment of waste liquid. The water thus purified is settled and after some time returns to natural water bodies, and the sludge obtained as a result of its purification is dehydrated, after which it is subjected to drying.
Activated sludge contains a mass of organic compounds. This is a favorable environment for the development of bacteria and microorganisms. If you do not expose it to recycling, the development of pathogenic microflora will begin. This leads to the processes of decay with the release of chemical compounds hazardous to humans. Therefore, the sludge must be recycled.
Every day a huge amount of sludge is formed. This raises the problem of their disposal. Active sludge can be buried in the soil. It can be decontaminated and then used as an organic fertilizer or it can be incinerated. In some cases, it is dumped into the seas and oceans.
The most common method of disposal of activated sludge is the use of sediment in agriculture. This allows you to apply the sediment without harm to humans and nature. It is important to note that the use of activated sludge in agriculture is justified and economically, because it is beneficial for agricultural producers to use sludge to feed the soil. In this case, the disposal of liquid waste begins to work according to the principles of a closed cycle: human waste products are involved in the re-production of agricultural products, and not just destroyed.
Works on sludge utilization are carried out as soon as possible in compliance with all environmental and legal regulations. We conclude an agreement on sludge utilization with enterprises of all forms of ownership. For budgetary organizations there is a deferred payment for the disposal of sludge.
Sludge is disposed of in the cities of: Kiev, Vinnitsa, Dnieper, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zaporizhia, Kramatorsk, Krivoy Rog, Kropyvnytskyi, Kremenchug, Lviv, Lutsk, Lugansk, Mariupol, Odessa, Nikolaev, Poltava, Uzhgorod, Rovno, Sumy , Ternopil, Kharkiv, Kherson, Khmelnitsky, Chernihiv, Chernivtsi, Cherkasy, as well as regions and regional / administrative centers of Ukraine.
The cost of sludge utilization directly depends on their location / storage (the transportation costs are calculated by the manager) and quantity (the larger the total quantity, the cheaper the cost).
After rendering services for the disposal of sludge to the customer, the following documents are issued: an act of transfer and acceptance of waste with the date and amount of sludge transferred for disposal, an accounting act of work performed / services rendered for the disposal of sludge, to which the relevant permits of our company are also attached: licenses, certificates , certificates, for enterprises of VAT payers in electronic form is registered tax invoice.
