The generally accepted proportion of ceramics in cullet is up to 25 g / t, and metal - up to 5 g / t. However, it is extremely important to carefully remove contaminants, as they seriously disrupt the structure of the smelted glass. Broken fragments enter special double-deck sieves and ferro- and paramagnetic separators. The final stage of cullet processing involves color separation.
6. Cullet melting. To compensate for the effect of contaminants on the final product, oxidizing agents or a suitable mixture of colorless cullet is added to the glazing device. These actions lead to the achievement of the necessary state of recovery and oxidative balance of the mass of glass.

Glass is the only type of raw material that can be recycled many times. Every 10% reduces gas consumption by 3%, and as a result of processing there is no waste at all.
